No climate control
No rear wiper/ aerial
Shit GSR seats
No fold in mirror switch.
Unlike most people,i thought it would be good to tell him it isnt a factory 4g63,he wasnt having it lol.
Hes reply was
"Mate the motor is registed to the vin and the motor has never been changed so yes it sounds weird but yes it is a factory fitted 4g63
and yes i know gsr only come in 1.8 but this one has a 2l for some fucked up reason i cant explane "

Maybe the motor was swapped with this car:

Is it just me, or does this seem to be a genuine evo shell with a 4G93 in it?
It even has the rear seat V brace which i haven't seen anyone swap.

It is a genuine evo shell.
Its not road registrable.
He wouldn't admit it, but chances are aussie gsr + genuine evo = gsr evo conversion plus residual car (evo converted to gsr).
He told me he had been doing motorsport in the car and purchased it that way.
Current projects: Mitsubishi ca5a/ce9a awd hybrid

Oh...and Joe is thinking of selling his wagon YAKUZA but wants top dollar for it...as you would !
he's bought a ct9w race rally and is swapping all the yukusa parts over to it, and selling the yellow plate wagon offYeh mick is a good bloke, bit overboard with his car seeing he didn't want to do much mods when he first got it lol
As for Joe, I don't know why he would sell such a rare mint machine. If I had the coin I would pick it up
rumour has it, will be sold at a shannons auctionRumour has it around the 70-80k mark !
Unsure how true that is but....
being that it will be stock yellow plate ct9w minimum would be 45K and above for the pure rarity of owning one on the road. Its well out of my price range, but would LOVE to own one.
BTW on the topic of CT9W's there was one for sale on eBay yesterday , already landed but race rally rego only. I have contacted and spoken to the owner and after doing allot of background checking on the seller he's known for doing the dodgy on allot of people from Rally team owners a tonne on supra forums and ae86 forums go's by the name of Jaye Damian Duca ex Buddy Parts in SA. Twas told to never pay any kind of deposit on anything unless your there in person standing in front of it. Listing has since been deleted off eBay But Ive saved all the pic's and info as well as Vin number.
So just in case someone on here has been tempted on here be warned (as he said there was a buyer lined up for it from NSW)
