I dont think it is actually a 2, they refers to it as a CD9A in the add, and the stamping in the engine bay does look like CD9A000xxxx

Jamo, things that aren't my cup of tea:
G4 coilovers.
Carbon floor (cover???) is interesting.
5" tacho etc. with exposed wiring
Change tail lights
New side indicators (ones on car are smoked)
Mis-match drivers seat
Chrome wiper blades
No wing
Dual battery... why?
Add states an external gate up not installed?
The kit (sides and rear) looks fiberglass, that may only be the new paint throwing me off

Still a great buy. Throw and extra few $k on top of it and it will be a very clean evo!

he's bought a ct9w race rally and is swapping all the yukusa parts over to it, and selling the yellow plate wagon off
rumour has it, will be sold at a shannons auction

being that it will be stock yellow plate ct9w minimum would be 45K and above for the pure rarity of owning one on the road. Its well out of my price range, but would LOVE to own one.

BTW on the topic of CT9W s there was one for sale on eBay yesterday , already landed but race rally rego only. I have contacted and spoken to the owner and after doing allot of background checking on the seller he's known for doing the dodgy on allot of people from Rally team owners a tonne on supra forums and ae86 forums go's by the name of Jaye Damian Duca ex Buddy Parts in SA. Twas told to never pay any kind of deposit on anything unless your there in person standing in front of it. Listing has since been deleted off eBay But Ive saved all the pic's and info as well as Vin number.

So just in case someone on here has been tempted on here be warned (as he said there was a buyer lined up for it from NSW)

Here we go again.

It seems that this ct9w wagon I mentioned above was sold to Theo, a local mitsu enthusiast from Adelaide.

This same car has been relisted on ebay again by the new owner (Theo).

Lancer Evo 9 Wagon here > http://cgi.ebay.com....em=130907067701

I have contacted Theo the new owner who has relisted this wagon, two weeks after he bought it and got conned by the seller.
The con's are

- he paid cash (with not even a reciept)
-didnt meet the seller at all ( this Jaye Duca guy got a friend to meet him so didnt purchase off the owner of the car or even know what he looks like)
- was promised paper work But didnt recieve any at point of sale.
-was promised the oem steering wheel with air bag But didnt recieve that either.

Theo has tried to contact the so called owner to get the original paper work (+steeringwheel) to no avail and the guy never answers his phone or emails. (Not Suprised as he's just done this guy in)

So with no import paper work (It was bought into the country under ??someone's?? cams race licence number)

The new owner is now stuck with this which he can't even get cams logged book, which means its a complete parts car.

My part to buy the car was:
I had orgainised with the original seller to buy the car in person, to fly down, and trailer it back to NSW

Due to no returned calls from him, to confirm the buy next step was to book a ticket down to SA.

In my last phone conversation with this seller (Jaye Damian Luca = original seller and importer of this CT9W into the country) we had agreed on the price and arrangements were, he was more than happy to send a copy of the LAST page of the import doc (there's many BTW, this was so I could verify its import approval under cams as race rally rego) of which it was imported under,

BUT nothing came through.
No more reply to emails and phone calls recieved. from this point forward.

Pity that this new owner Theo got dicked over and is left with a very expensive parts car.

------------------------------------

For the record CT9W GT models (2005 produced) go for around the 15k (1mill Yen) with 40,000-80,000kms on the clock to above KM's 80,000kms and avove for 10k max.

These can be imported into the country under cams Lic. and Race rally reg'd only total cost 2.5k

-------------------------------------

Hhahahaa just a little vent and post! after getting of the phone with the newly ripped owner of this one.

Be careful when buying cars out there guys & FFS do your homework prior to handing over your cash.

that came in the country with the driveline out , and got put back together here Im thinking , I would say it got approved as a parts car only , I don't think that the CT9W is on the register even for race rally, only CT9A, CY4A is also not on the register , unless you contact Canberra and get the info again
