Oh and an Evo 0 is an Evo spec VR4 -uprated injectors (450cc as opposed to 410cc), factory vented bonnets, vented front bumper (small vents underneath intercooler area) and a whole lot of other go fast stuff. Not too sure exactly.
Of course, only available on JDM models 8)
Interesting. As far as I know normal VR-4s had 450cc injectors and Evo spec VR-4s had 510s.
If yours came with 450s then it'd be a facelift RS, not a VR-4 Evolution.

Shit fuck sorry you are right, 450cc for normal VR4 and 510cc for Evo 0.
Damn how did I mess that up so bad LOL

Should be the last day of dyno time today, has only been mapped up to 5000rpm so far, and only on 14psi (turbo range is from around 18psi+)
Any guesses for 20psi?
Will it reach 300kw atw?
Will update when I know more, probably tomorrow 8)

why didn't the push the revs any further?
where did your turbo hit the 14psi?
I'll take a guess that you'll get 280kw @ 6000rpm on 20psi

Well only mapped to 5000rpm at the time I took the reading and left the tuners. Should be finishing the map for 14psi then turning it up to 20psi then finishing off the maps to suit.
Should be finished off all mapping today though

looking good!
how do you find the haltech?

According to the tuner, who sells, installs and tunes Haltech it's very "cumbersome" :?

Ok so did 280kw atw at 14psi.
Put it on the strip. Found out Exedy 5 puck clutch (1 month old) was slipping. Did 12.5 on 225/50/16 Dunlop slicks. Got banned from using my slicks on the track at street events as my slicks weren't DOT approved.
Pulled clutch out, has alot of "meat" left but on every puck there was bits crumbled off and missing. Bought a Quarter Master twin plate clutch with Tilton rally plates and turned the boost up to 20psi. ~320kw atw.
Also modified TEIN coilovers for early Evo to fit which helped lower my sixty foots from 2.1 to 1.7 seconds.
Took it back to strip on Friday just passed, 14th December, with my mate driving doing some animal flat shifting 11.82 @ 187kph on those black 18" Zyoxx (heavy) wheels with NOTHING stripped out.
So full street trim 11.82 @ 187kph.
Think it still has abit left in it, with some smaller, lighter wheels with better tyres.

whats is that trap speed in mph?
you should go much faster than 11.82 with 320kw at the wheels, another vr4 on the forums did 10.98 with 340kw

nice work mate!

That's 116mph.
Yea estimated weight at about 1500kg+ at the moment. Like I said, should have abit more left in it -think it'll manage a 11.5 with some smaller wheels, better tyres, perfect run and some Avgas or C16.
Forgot to mention that 11.82 was with 98 pump gas.
Bought a set of Ross teflon coated forged pistons and going to start building a second engine so when this one goes pop I'll have a new one ready (current engine has standard internals bar ARP head studs and bolts throughout and a stainless steel triple layer head gasket).
But for now just going to tidy up the engine bay, put 2 matching bucket seats in the rear (4 seater) and some other stuff to keep it looking nice and tidy
