My goals were 300kw atw which has been done.
11 second quarter mile run which has been done.

Best of all in full street trim including wheels, tyres and fuel.

So I guess just tidy up the overall appearance of the car while keeping it looking factory on the outside.

Twin plate is fucking awesome. Puts all the power to the ground and will never slip :)

Gearbox is standard factory RS.

I'll get to the vids as soon as I find some good ones :)

So no issues with the gearbox giving up yet?
I've been told that the RS gearbox have steel forks, but still have the single syncro's unlike the evo3 box's... any idea if its true or not?

You haven't done anything to the box at all?

What are you launching the monster at?
the stock 4bolt rear and the stock front shafts holding up fine?

As for the flatshift, does the haltech control that? or is it just rev limit shifts?
Any details on the gearknob switch? is it a strain gauge type switch? I'm planning on running flatshift also via the ecu.

I'm sure you'll hit the 10's soon with more track time...

No issues with the box yet. And have no idea about the forks, haven't pulled it apart or even taken it out of the car, only to change clutch which I don't do myself.

Launching at around 5500rpm for the 11.82 run then foot flat to the floor. Everything seems to be holding up fine at the moment.

No Haltech not controlling the flat shift. The switch on the gearknob was hooked up to a Bee R rev limiter but not anymore. Removed that ages ago and only just got round to removing the switch -it hasn't done anything. Has no launch control, Haltech hard rev limit set to around 8000rpm. When flat shifting, I have learnt to shift so fast that it doesn't even hit limit before it goes into next gear :P Animal LOL

cast steel im assuming, whereas the standard vr4 box use alloy forks correct? any idea?

OSiRiS, what sort of switch is it? how does it look? how does it work?
I'm looking for one, if yours is the right type, want to sell it?

lol just a rocker switch, when the circuit is closed it just earth's whatever it's connected to, which is the case for most launch controllers etc.

Time for another update with photos. Still on paid holiday until the 14th so I'm extremely bored LOL

Polished rocker cover with -10 fittings welded in stock breather locations. Not only did this look good, having the -10 fittings welded and using a proper catch can setup it stopped my dipstick from blowing out oil and oil leaking out from under the oil filler cap.

TEIN coilovers as they were delivered to me. These are for CE9A Evo but were modified to fit my VR4.

Broken throttle body, too much power! :P Replaced with an anodized HKS purple coloured item. Mmmm. Sorry ran out of Samco so used a Racepro silicon joiner lol

High Intensity Discharge (HID) kit installed in low beam with 8000k bulbs, still has factory high beam bulbs :)

New polished alloy catch can installed with -10 pushlock fittings and hose. Genuine K&N filter used aswell :D

BOV has been changed from HKS Racing Type II to HKS SSQV -I prefer the skank whistle sound :P

Top and bottom radiator hoses replaced with genuine Samco parts.

All rocker cover bolts changed to stainless steel cap screws and washers :)

Go Fast Bits Atomic boost controller -now I've always hated boost controllers, but at a time where I couldn't find a spring combination to make 20psi, with track event the next day I bought and installed a brand new manual boost controller in hope that I can get it from 14psi to stable 20psi. I installed the boost controller and with it fully closed I hit my mark of 20psi! Didn't even have to open it at all :P I figured because the restrictor in the boost controller was enough to bounce the wastegate feed to 20psi solid I haven't bothered changing the setup.

Engine as it is today. Note I used a couple of cans of degreaser on the firewall, water bottles, strut towers etc. and it made such a big difference! Will continue cleaning up engine bay and just tidying things up here and there.

I'm fairly sure HKS dont make throttle bodies, and he was trying to say it is HKS coloured

Yea lol I meant HKS coloured, not an actual HKS throttle body :P

And no I didn't buy anything from eBay... The intake manifold was purchased from someone locally who got it shipped over from the states, not exactly sure of manufacturer but note it was internally bellmouthed and very very smooth. Very happy with the craftmanship on the intake manifold.

The throttle body wasn't so great quality though. I got the purple one strengthened internally by welding along the shaft so that there isn't a possibility it will snap at the weakpoint where the screw goes through the shaft into the butterfly like the silver one.

Wow those prices are high!

I paid NZ$550 for the manifold and around NZ$300 for the throttle body. They were purchased in NZ locally.
