is that what yours is? 80mm for RB series engines?
It's a 80mm throttle body. Doesn't matter what it's for anyway, the flange that was originally on the inlet manifold was chopped off and the flange to bolt the throttle body onto was welded onto the inlet manifold.
Reason why I decided on 80mm throttle body was because the intercooler piping we used was 3" (76mm).
Custom fabrication will make anything work

Haha yea I'll add my 10c to that thread now.
No I didn't race, didn't want to wait around all day to get a few runs.
When I say a few runs, I mean because the day's racing is also full of Rotaries (being a 4 & Rotary National) and alot of Pro Imports. Sooo I just enjoyed the days racing and watched 8)

Nope haven't raced it since the 11.82 -but will be racing at the next Nightspeed Dragwars event which will be on the 15th February 2008.
Planning to run street trim again, except with 17" Momo GT2 wheels with Toyo Proxes.

I'm thinking you should be seeing 200kph trap speeds when you go out next with that kind of power?
Tuff VR4s are few and far between over here, always great to see one

That high mount install looks tuff as, love it

I think it's the weight of the car which is letting it down. I'm estimating around 1600kg which is pretty porky haha.
But I don't want to strip it out or anything because that'll defeat the purpose of being full street trim 11 second car
And thanks, yes I think it sounds pretty fucking tough with the twin plate rattling away while you're sitting at traffic lights, and manouvering in and out of shopping car park spaces  8)

Love it - everything should be run in street trimBut I don't want to strip it out or anything because that'll defeat the purpose of being full street trim 11 second car
It's funny - I have no problem with nitrous and race fuel being used on the street, but it doesn't belong at the track
Yeah, but I get people asking what's about to fall off my car from the twin plate rattleAnd thanks, yes I think it sounds pretty fucking tough with the twin plate rattling away while you're sitting at traffic lights, and manouvering in and out of shopping car park spaces  8)

Oh, the people that "count" already know what the rattle means

Brand new Evo 9 GT front and back seats
Cup holders in the back of the VR4! Drinks on
Before any asks; yes, custom rails were made so that they'd fit, the back seats went in easy with some minor modification.
Don't dare ask how much, cost a f'ing packet load!
