another gsr woot.

finally completed my brake upgrade at work consited of fto hubs , gsr nuckles , new bearing rebuilt the fto front calipers new pads and disc and new lines.

looks hot ! lol also 5 stud front still 4 stud rear lol

so is the braking better or much the same ? are the FTO twin piston ?

need to get my ass into gear and get them other bits out. was going to see if horse wants any parts from that car. might see if u and him want to got halves in whats left and go for gold. i have almost got my money back so happy to see the rest of it go.

**EDIT** yeah man scared me braking . Went 100km on harveys range and dropped the brakes ... only skidded about 1car length and jesus thought i was going to front flip lol

Going to the drags this weekend now that the car is running and it looks like it will be the last chance i get lol

I have to work Sunday so I'm out.

Put the new tappets in and it's still rattles like a diesel. Not sure how long till they settle in. Better be soon.

mike has some aircon lines , just not the one from the compressor to the accumulator

Yeah I bleed them before they went in. So no idea. Might just start it and leave it run for a few hrs. Did its rattle real bad for a while ?

Dane. Not when I get up at 4.30 and have to be there for 12 hrs. Yes I have aircon line. Going to do a deal with horse and Jason on the car. Shame Jason moving to brissy will have to find another tuner or pay for him to come up every few months.

So how did you go last night?

Yeah only got 2 runs in since every man and their dog went . First run 13.4 2.1 for the 60 footer at 101mph . Second run with a passenger went 13.1 1.9 60 footer and 103 mph all with factory racing towball

Must have been a few cars I imagine if u only got 2 goes. Not too bad I suppose at least u got a few runs.

about 1.5hr between runs.. we about 200+ cars racing and about 20 cars in spectators carpark lol

wholly crap ! that would have to be the biggest turnout for a street meet. At least they got a nice retirement fund from the drags closing

well rumour is they have already started the process of building another one out at the copper refinery....so ive heard

There will be lots of rumours. I can tell u there is nothing out that way nor will there be. That is prized industrial land. They won't put a track there. Having said that not long sore a post on Facebook from a friend of a friend who is about to put a proposal to the council for a track. Investment is about 4.3 mil. He very serious and the small discussion I have had with him he seams very genuine. However councils have been known to stop things like that due to their own vested interests. I'm sure Jenny hill would rather stand up next council election and say " I got the new Motorsport precinct" rather than a delveloper do it off their own back.
