Hey so you work with Gary? I've known him for years & Years, He's just amazing when it comes to both sides with cars. He can do the Manual side of things & the Elect side of it too. (In fact with everything realy hahaha) Not to many people that has that gift.

Crawfords is the lesser of two evils TMS arn't to bad from what ive heard, but each to there own. Each work shop has things that they are better at than others. A guy i work with Garry does alot of electronics stuff for Crawfords and i hear nothing but good things. There have been a few stories around about crawford but its the moron's that turns the boost up ect on his car, then it shits it self and he blames the last guy that worked on it. There dyno reads a fair bit lower than Bob's tho so if any one tells you Bob got more power out of there car its probaly BS. But they are the only two 4wd doynos in town.

Hey Josh, do you work at QR as well?

What about that Yellow EVO VIII that races at the sprint series?, He even converted from an STI.
I know he lives in Cairns but if he is going to be racing at the track next meeting, someone should give him a card or an invite to the drag meeting in april. He does drive to Townsville alot.
I have some good in-car Footage of it going around the track.

*Drewl* Thats a amazing car, he gets unbelievable times, and if you watch, he doesn't even have to work for them with the lines he takes being very safe.

Yeah, tyre advantage can never be ignored. If you've got enough money to get some top end street tyres (borderline race tyres) then you'll shave at least a few seconds off the time on that track. Unfortunately, some of those tyres are really only good for 2 or 3 outings!

Hi Lee, glad to meet you on line, look forward to meeting in person, the Yellow EVO VIII belongs to Piper, I think his first name is John, comes from Cairns, we sold it through Pickerings, I believe it has had serious $$$$ spent on it, probably around 200Kw+ at the wheels, last I spoke to him he was selling it because he had a Rally Spec STi on order from Japan, but he may have gone overseas since then.

Selling it already?
Last time i talked to him he was 100% over the moon on how good the EVO was over the STI.
Just with everything he was happy with the way it stoped & Handled, much more advance that the STI, they are still far behind with all of the AYC ACCD of the evo.
Suburu must know about getting a AWD car around a courner you have to take "drive" away from a cartain wheel, The STI Will just want to keep powering on....Understeer, understeer, understeer with all wheels.
The EVO with the way it is in some extreme cases is only 1 Wheel drive.
NOW thats is cool.
Anywayz mate I'm prolly telling you stuff you already know.
But I'm also looking forward to meeting you.

I'm coming for a look for certain. I still have a thin chance of being able to have a go (I think) as my brakes just arrived All I need now is my car back and I can get started
