the 20g should be able to make waaaaaay more than that
does he have the 34mm wastegate flapper?
i remember reading ages ago on dsmtuners or something that the bigger wastegate flapper creeps because its larger surface area has to hold more pressure and it cant

I have made 203Kw's at the front wheels at 19 psi, but with more boost cams and adjustable cam gears, I am hoping for 240kw's+

Yeah guys, its actually Paul's (BCNYA) turbo but modified! Mark at GTPumps put on a TD06 compressor housing (now its a TD06/TD05 hybrid) and also a TD06 turbine wheel for more top end so thats why we were expecting more. Other mods are sheetmetal intake plenum, big cooler and piping, Haltech E6X, 510cc injectors, Sard FPR, Apexi AVCR boost controller umm... no boost leaks or intake leaks or anything. We were expecting over 300hp atw but Mick could only get 250hp atw out of it on 20psi which seemed low.
so in other words its a TD06H turbo watercooled wit a 070 rear end!
250hp ATW is quiet low.. tho i would take it to the strip cos power isnt always right on a dyno.
i know of an evo with a TD06H-20G comp wheel and TD05H rear end with 070 made 23kw (~310hp) and ran low 12s... at almost 120mph..

With his new setup only making 250hp atw the injectors were pretty high in duty cycle but still good as it wasnt leaning out and I'm sure Mick would have recognised a need to put bigger ones in if required. I thought exactly the same as you guys did, I said he would be better off with 600's but i was told the 510's were still up to the task.
So the investment of taking the car to Sydney and cost of tune and dyno + bigger TD06 20G turbo, sheetmetal intake, GTpumps manifold, icoola and piping for only a 40hp increase atw was a bit of a let down for him as you could understand. Something just doesnt seem right with the 250hp... now if it were 250kw (335hp atw) that would be more like it I'll see if I can get a dyno printout.
In the meantime this is the exact same turbo from Paul BCNYA when it still was only a big 16G with 20G wheel and 20psi boost. This is why we all thought easy 300hp+ was on the cards with the modified turbo

Engine checks out fine so there's a couple of theories as to why its not making the power. Mick just reckons piss the 20G and manifold off and throw on a Garrett and be done with it
I can't see how that will solve the problem unless there is something physically wrong with the turbo. You seem to have the hardware to produce ~300hp at the wheels. It has been done before, it can be done again. Personally, I would apply some of the 'theories' that you may have first...search for any restrictions, rather than just ditching the turbo and manifold....
