Just in case people missed this in another thread
I spoke to JB HiFi at Eastland in Ringwood - lass named Jade there says
that for an order of 10 she can do the XL for $415. That's compared to
their already sale price of $447. She has written it on a card for me and
says there's no problems with us all rocking up and paying separately or
anything like that. It sounds good to me.
So who's in?

Google Maps. I loooove it. Loooooooove it.
Thanks anyway Gav, though I actually bought a GPS a little while ago and ended up selling it. I've used a couple and really can't stand them to be honest. The only thing I found it was good for was screaming "FAVOURITES WARNING" every time I came to an intersection with a camera, but I wasn't doing anything wrong so it didn't even benefit me there. If they made one that accessed Google Maps, I'd get it in a second though.

nunawading. i don't actually do sales, best thing to do is come down wed.5th dec. (6pm-9pm) for our vip night thingy for discounted stuff (esp. on stock with no sales margin like lcd tvs).
only problem with the group buy is that you'll have to organise it in a single purchase (at least a few units at a time).

yeah we retail the tomtom xl unit at $499.
for the benefit of t4g members i'll list the specials we have on wednesday night (after 6pm). however, please do not mention me or t4g as i am probably not allowed to disclose this information:
10% off all prepaid phones
20% off all cordless phones
10% off navigations
up to 10% off macbooks
up to 20% off notebooks
20 off all music & dvd
20% all webcams
20% off all pc audio
up to 20% plasmas
20% off all gaming software
up to 10% off all mp3 players
up to 50% off all watchguard security camera solutions
up to 20% xmas lights
10% off sd & hd pvr's
10% off all lcd panels
*woolworth staff get an extra 10% off (instead of 5% with their card).
*wednesady night after 6pm only*
we're usually lucky to even make a 10% margin on an lcd panel so this really is a good deal esp. if you have a woolies card.
