1st link: Yeah that's to the extreme. You take a guy's car, fine him $3000 and loss of license, you'll bring out the hate and even more animosity toward the Police. The fine and the loss of license is enough IMO. If you crush the car you crush any chance of reconciliation and respect for authorities. I foresee that those who have their cars crushed will get their retribution back in some way or another and it wont be in a good way thats for sure.

2nd link: Yeah well thats what you get when you run out in front of a Police car. She should have just stayed put because its not like she didnt see or hear them coming - but then again she is blonde :lol:

If they actually bothered to tell the whole story they would have mentioned that in order to get the cars crushed they need to be able to prove that there are stolen items on the car.

As far as the car crushing goes- why dont they sell the cars, and then subsidise the cost for off street drags????

If they get a car a week- that should be able to pay for a whole bunch of cars to be able to race for free, safely and legally!!
