What kind of music are you guys into? Maybe we can like start a thread with new release songs and so on? I know a few guys here are DJ's aswell so I rekon it'll be cool.

As for me, I'm into rnb/hip hop. Although I can pretty much listen to anything from oldies to alternative. None of that doof doof stuff though, does my head in.

I listen to a lot of indie (independent) stuff, a lot of aussie hip hop, bit of uk hip hop and drum 'n bass, indie rock, don't mind a bit of dub either!

Im your typical kiwi. Hip Hop and Drum n Bass.

I also get down with Jungle, 2step, techstep, grime, dancehall, garage- a little dubstep, love my reggae, roots, jazz, big band swing, soul, classical rock, classic hits and southern crump. I dont mind house, as long as its decent. I love mark farina.

My favourite artist for this year, would have to be lil wayne.


I cant stand fairy music, country, or breakbeat.

I have serious music phases. December to about July this year, I was Nine Inch Nails addicted. Went and saw them at the Metro too, fucking best show I've ever seen. Went through another for a while when it was 70s/80s only, then onto Midnight Juggernauts (Melbourne boys.) Had an 'I love anything Triple J plays' phase. Interpol, Queens of the Stone Age, Silverchair, AFI. Currently on the Project Gotham Racing 4 (Xbox 360 racing game) soundtrack. List here.

at the moment all im listening to is daft punk, going to see them next week, so im pretty pumped. but usually its indie house, stuff like justice, mr oizo, mstrkrft, rex the dog, etc.

i used to be a muso aswell, so i have an appreciation for talented muscial composition aswell.
