So you reckon $1600 is too expensive for a gearbox and that you'll get a half cut for that price? Dude - most of the mainstream stuff we play with in this game of Lancer/VR4 mods isn't common pick-a-part stuff, thus not cheap!
How much were you expecting to pay for an EVO gearbox anyway? Andrew checks his gearboxes inside and out to make sure they're worth selling, and like the guys have said - his prices are pretty good.

no never said 1600 was expensive ... as i dont know what these things are worth ... just didnt expect that kinda price ...
i never mentioned anything about a half cut!! i said i'll look into getting straight cut gears if a new box is roughly about the $1600 mark ...
cause if i'm looking at that kind of cash i'll be more then happy to spend the extra cash and have a stronger gearset etc...

over here in perth I have a box that has the evo 3 numbers on the bell housing, it came from a crashed car. During the crash the external section of the gear selector shaft has suffered some impact making gear selection difficult. I havn't pulled it down yet to check it out, however if you wish I could do so and let you know its condition. then we could talk about price.
freight would be your cost but shouldnt go over 120.00
let me know
