Didn't see this posted, but is this anyone on here?

http://www.smh.com.a...0159337685.html

The men were last seen heading south on Strathallen Avenue in a silver 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI with NSW registration EV 06 VI.

The turbo-charged sports car was stolen last night from inner-western Drummoyne, police said.

The owner of the car told police he went to check on the vehicle, which was parked outside his home in Queen Victoria Street, after hearing its alarm sound at 8.30pm.

Three men were standing near the car and one of them, who was carrying a gun, demanded the owner hand over the keys.

The owner returned to the house, retrieved the keys and handed them over before the men fled in the car.

Farkin scumbags, too bad he returned with the keys instead of his own gun but i guess since guns are banned you can only get one if you're a crim anyway, what a stupid law...

Although it's good the guy didn't get hurt during that shit which is the important thing

The article words it as if he walked back out and handed them over, it's more likely he just chucked them out the door to them or something

When you think about it that way it's more realistic than how the article makes out

he did walk back out the full story is on evo oz

his car alarm went off he went out side to check on his car and three guys ran out from next door one putting a gun to his head asking for his keys he then told them he did not have the keys and they where inside so they took him inside to get the keys and left with the car police took 4 min to get there

but yeah if it was a choice of my car and my life i would do the same

Its very sad to hear about shit like that happening.

I'm glad to hear that the guy is alright too, and hopefully he doesn't get the car back... (he said he didn't want to see it again) I wouldn't want it back after what it would go through in the hands of people like that.

I'm also glad I don't own an Evo, so much has been happening to them lately, it's a joke!

There was an arcticle YEARS ago in Sydney, People had stolen at evo 6, modified of course. and where using it for bank robberies, once the robbery was complete, they were parking it on a street (Not there own) and putting a car cover over it.. The car was found because someone got suspicious of a car being parked outside all the time with a cover on it.

Would pay to have a remote immobiliser too. Some alarms have a decent km range so if they took the car and drove it away, wait a minute then press the button or call with the mobile to shut it down. Would give you enough time to make a getaway. They would think there's something wrong with the car
