kkz update..
tomoro i should recieve the CORRECT loom, the new front and rear engine mounts and i will go get a correct flywheel for the ggsr box and then hopefully (fingers crossed) everything can be hooked up tomoro.
although i have to wait for a new knock sensor from meek.
also if any of you guys need plugs i have 2 looms sitting here that i wont mind hacking up.. so let us know if one of your plugs is smashed etc..
might take a vid tomoro to show the carnage of the single driveway engine conversion 8)

well i STILL HAVENT GOT A LOOM, so ive lost motivation..
anyway i ran the piping for the intercooler, im happy with it for now until i can afford a decent piping kit..
havent clamped it all up yet as it will have to come apart but yer..
so ive done everything i can until i get my bomz intake and find a 055..
ALSO WHEN A FUCKING LOOM ARRIVES I MIGHT BE ABLE TO START THE BIATCH.
sorry for the rage but its been 2 weeks and it hasnt came so im keen to abuse the guy lol..

You don't need an 055 maf, you can get any maf off any magna from about 93-> 99, i think they're labelled 609 from memory.
The 4G63 motor code is street shorthand for dominance. It's automotive Darwinism.

609's are EVO AFM's- 055's are the ones from Magnas!

well i got it turning over but no fuel or no spark..
i guess i was stupid to think i could join 2 separate looms lol..
well now im going to use my standard ggsr loom and modify that to suit..
if someone could post a ecu pin diagram from a vr4 and a ggsr that would be AWESOME, and also what pins are what...
my problem will be putting the knock sensor in, moving pins around to suit vr4 ecu.
also im tossing up whether i just adapt the vr4 afm plug but dont run the 6th wire for the barometic pressure sensor, or do i definately need this?
thanks in advance, AT LEAST IT TURNED OVER WOOT...

Hey mate, you're getting there.
About the loom, you should be able to integrate the looms hey. Although I can understand your frustration. I integrated an RS loom with a hyundai loom, and man that took me ages, and lots of brainpower, haha.
It's not an easy task to do it properly, and yeah, all documentation for both models of car is an absolute necessity. I wouldn't try without it.
Re: the ECU pinouts, I have a really good link for this, but it's on my work computer, so if you can't wait till then, there is this -
http://www.ecanfix.c...1990tntecu.html
But I think this is for DSM's, and I can't tell you what is the same and what isn't, but my guess would be that there isn't much difference aye.
Good luck!

Hey Matt, congratulations man. What was the issue with the ignition?
Btw I can't post up that link you wanted, that site doesn't exist anymore.
Your burnouts will be alot better now.
Actually, I thought that one you did wasn't too bad for N/A GGSR at all hey!
Have fun man, good luck with it.

well it was a fun early morning start lol
me and my ggsr left this spot which we have both called home for the last 2 months
so i started her up(starter motor makes some awful noises lol)
idled a bit rough, suspected a vac/boost leak, couldnt see anything so i took it for a test run sounding like a v8 supercar lol. neighbours must hate me already..
anyway about 5 mins into the drive when i hit bout 1 pound of boost at 3k
it stuttered then died about 10 seconds after.
this was why:
it was dodgy right from the start but i thought it might hold but nah, no meat at all to clamp onto.. ill just get s silicone reduced 3 to 2 inch which should fix it..
anyway ive fallen in love with the turbine sound already lol
this is what its looking like in the driveway where it sits until tomoro when i get a new starter:
so im glad its running and the second time i started it when i just reclamped that pipe it ran awesome, idled well and had lots of low down torque which i was surprised with.
a pic of the hood which still needs of bit of wiring to be cleaned up.
anyway mods to come which are sitting here.
bomz intake, which will make the bay alot nicer.
jspec bumper.
b&n oil cooler with braided lines and fittings to suit(just running a link between cooler hoses atm.
mods to come which arent here yet.
big16g(near future)
boost controller (manual 4tw)
powder coated rocker cover.
new fmic with custom piping.
so should be good when its all run in and id like to thank a lot of guys on here for all there help, relaly appreciated.
Cheers Matt
