yeh well i dont have a hoist....all i have is 2 jacks a crane and my own two hands......i dont think its that bad of a job

engine crane with a wonderful little mount that you can alter the centre of gravity with by winding a handle and the hook moves from one side to the other.

I know that tool George, I purchased one from a guy in AUS and with the weight of the box / engine it broke!!

Might have to spend a bit to get a decent one, but yes that would work great.

I prefer hoisting up the car, placing the engine and box in position and drop the car, then move the engine to suit... Easiest way for sure!

yeah,the one my mate has has no issue holding a complete box and engine,even on a massive angle.

na its not going yet.....its pretty much done...just gotta do some vac hoses, refit bumper and bonnet and its done ready for a run in tune.....ive used castrol syntrax 75-90 for gearbox and transfer, so hopefully itll give me some nicer gearshifts .......i cant wait to get it driving again:drool:

well after some hard work, modifications and a bit of crackin the shits this week im alllllllllllll done!!!! and of course BIG thanx to baz for steering me the right way and richard for helping me out when i needed an extra pair of hands.....

tomorow morning its on a tow truck to springy for a run in tune.......as promised some pics after i finished and gave it it a bit of a squirt
