Your parts have arrived Harry.

Wiseco 2.4 pistons
Water pump adaptor + gaskets
Cometic headgasket
ARP main studs

plus you already have the Rods / Head studs / Block / Squirters / Front cover + oil pump / Sump...

Once the oil squirter machining is done, send the parts over and we'll get it all machined.

20g will be like a TD04 on this thing! :P

you have all the ingredients of one hell of a weapon! all you need now is the TURBO :D

What about a GT3788R?

Looking good man, should be nice. For the other boys, just for the record, the reason why guys go a stroker 2.3 is because you can keep your existing 4G63 block and according to authorities and insurance etc, its still a 2 litre (no engine change). The downside of a 4G64 conversion for most of us is the legalities in stepping up from a 2 litre turbo to a 2.4 turbo. Once the block is stamped 4G64 you gotta make sure whomever signs off on the engine transplant (and insurance) dont notice the increase in capacity lol :)

Guys,

I thought I'd start a new thread for Harry since the EVO will start fresh...

The rough specs of the motor:

2.4L 4G64 Block
2.4L OEM treated crank
Custom Spec Wiseco pistons
Scat Rods machined to suit custom wiseco pistons
ARP main / head studs + rod bolts
Turbo - hi flowed evo7?? stock exhaust manifold (extrude honed) and stock intake manifold.

Built by Springy Motors

Enjoy some pictures:

I'll update it as the build goes on.

Why Evo 7 turbo? Was the smallest turbo on the later model Evos. I would get a much bigger turbo to make use of all the money he is spending on a stroked and forged build. Maybe a GT3076r.
