also you will need a evo head still if your one is damaged

i wonder if you need a DOHC version or you can work it with a SOHC version out of somthing like a mitsu express wagon
I got 240KW dyno sheet at RP That dyno sheet then lead to 160KW at CREATD I NOW Have 227KW at CREATD does that mean at RP i would have 300KW?

Unless that is pre e6's..

I think the vans use a wideblock which wont work.

Dougmo would know..

No idea mate,

Are the tritons mounted N - S or E - W?

If N - S, I'd say it is a wideblock meaning that it wont work unless you had some sort of bellhousing adaptor

If E - W it should be fine.

i spoke to dougmo on the phone this morning and he worked out that the te magna 4g64 is the right orientation for the 6.......and hes kind enough to look into seeing if the rods are the same as 63 rods.....which im confident they are

Woohoo!
Step 1 done!

Looks a little different to the 6bolt 2.4L. You have more holes to plug up on the main deck!

Hope the crank was good!
If you can Harry, find more! Pick the best one of the bunch!

i havnt pulled it down yet boys......baz, i actually compared the 63 and 64 head gasket and they are exactly the same , no i dont have to plug holes if thats what u mean.....the only difference was the cyl bore size which is good news.....the boys in the states said that was the difference between the 2.4 6bolt and 7bolt.....i also have to sus out if whether i can use the 64 water pump and 64 oil pump im pretty sure i can.......time will tell

Even better!

I think you have to use all your 2.0L front cover gear including water pump.

Does it have the thread for a knock sensor?
