just a few pics of my new toy. Look forward to updating the pics as the upgrades continue. IE: evo bonnet - different wheels - bottom section/extension of front bar and general tidy up. Mechanically, im not too sure where to spend the money as yet. I will keep reading the forum and getting advise and best set ups etc. Found car sitting in a back yard neglected, already with 4g63 conversion,EMS in cab adjustable boost control after market intake, 3" exhaust etc (though had not been registered with it) breeding spiders and resemmbling somewhat of a garden statue with grass growing up through the engine bay and all. Couldnt believe how some1 loses interest in such a quality piece of gear. Anyway, i brought it,have it roadworthy'd runing and rego'd. Goes great and drives beautifully. Have only had cv shaft probs with it though are now resolved. Previous owner now a little unhappy after finding out it was a minor electrical prob which stopped the car in the first place!

Nice mate!
1 useful tip for you - get that VR4 L shape engine mount outta there ASAP, and replace it with an EVO one. The angle that your engine is currently sitting is not friendly for driveshaft seals on the Xfercase!

Valid point, and you are probably onto something, thanks. I have had a few probs with alignement of left hand front cv shaft, and hanger (snapping heads off bolts and warping) havent had any damage to seals on xfercase as yet. Have only just sourced a replacement hanger and VR4 cv shaft, and hopefully have my hands on the VR4 a/c bracket also to avoid using spacers. What sorta coin do the evo mounts go for, are they hard to find and what model evo's can i get one from???

thanks for the links. I think i'll be on the ph in the morn. It appears my car has some of the right bits,....... just not all of em yet. Im happy to keep working on that though. Will be good to have the 4g63 in the bay and sitting correctly. Im suprised at how well the thing felt to drive set up this way, was quite smooth, no vibration and didnt pull right or left at all. Bit shakey under heavy brakes, but i have had the alignment problems as you have mentioned. Up until i got on this forum i have struggled to get good advise, and rarely got accurate info regarding the conversion. you guys have answered more of my issues in a week then i have had answered in three months!
