I ask this because when i intially snapped the bolt heads off in the idler cv bearing hanger, i had the a/c bracket attached, and it had been runing this way prior to me purchasing the car. Would the top mount alone be the cause of the snapping bolts?

Having a vr4 engine in my 92 GSR using the vr4's top engine mount, what are the mods that should have been done to it, if any were required to ensure it does the job correctly? Is it a must change item to ensure i dont have ongoing issues with LHS front cv's, and idler bearing hanger?

Are you talking about the timing belt side mount?
Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think you need an EVO 1-3 mount for that side.
Have a look at the angle that your motor is on in this pic:
Nice mate!
1 useful tip for you - get that VR4 L shape engine mount outta there ASAP, and replace it with an EVO one. The angle that your engine is currently sitting is not friendly for driveshaft seals on the Xfercase!

Once again, thanks for the good advise, things are much easier to get sorted out using it
