How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

Yes the cams and everything is on and IN! tring to locate a Gates "RACE" timing belt at a reasonable price.
gearbox nearly done! just modified the cam cover (welded up the rear breather, and made a large side breather - will be painting it tomorrow)
It is coming together rather nicely, still might not be 100% for the 12th

So I will be making my own (more time) and I get my MIG a bit sooner
makes me wonder if the turbonetics manifold would fit too as it looks like it puts the turbo in the same position
So i think it would be a lot safer to build one!

Mine goes in this morning to get the cat changed and a new front pipe made. That should free the exhaust up a bit

just have to fit,- then make the exhaust manifold, dump pipe, new intercooling pipes, turbo/air filter pipe, new top tank of the radiator(I just dont like it)
rewire the new throttle body, throttle sensor and idle control valve. and I'm sure there are a dozen other things I'll find in the engine bay I didn't acount for.
I'll be happy when I see the motor sitting in the engine bay bolted in!

14.2 @ 104.63
That was with me having to wait till the revs dropped down to about 4000 to change into second and with the clutch slipping in third under boost.
Bloody timer wasn't working for the second run but I looked at my speedo going through the traps and it was right around 180Km/h which is about 111mph.
It *should* be good for a 12 once it is sorted and I can play with the tune a bit.
I will have to get a rebuild on the box and a new clutch and see if the times can be bettered

Tim i think a new clutch and you'd be fine. By the way, mrs still loves your engine bay, but it's not as "pretty" as the purple rocker cover in mohommad's (apologise for spelling?) engine bay.
