I highly recommend the Croft Institute aswell... very cool place to sit back and have a drink downstairs (or Absynth shots) and then head on upstairs and dance like a nob to the hip-hop/reggae/drum n bass/whatever is playing.
RnB is very girly, I have to take Dre's side on that one!
i second matty on that one croft is fair nice and the atmosphere is better than most. wouldnt mind checking out workshop

I went to the croft institute once and yeah i loved the mixing..
but fark felt like a being in a movie, an alley way where batman or spiderman might pop out from hahaha..
but as usuall i was drunk..
