Looking awesome!!! The rocker cover looks awesome that colour

I agree. Lovely.
Some braided lines for the catch can would really look great.

thanks for the comments. I havent driven the car in a while because of the leaks, im having withdrawals :(

this looks sick... whens it hitting the strip?

havent set a date but i wouldnt mind having a crack once i get the leak fixed.

yeah old mate did a good job painting it for me. I know how u love the bling bling Todd :w00t::w00t::w00t: lol

do youself a favour and get a bush made up for the front roll stopper too,
it locks the motor in tight. the hole in the bush is 16.5mm i think and the bolt is 10mm so it moves about(also makes it easier to fit)

it will add a bit to vibration though

any reason why the bolt isnt the same size as the inner bush? I havent realyl had a good look down there yet but could i just use a 16.5mm bolt instead?

Ive actually got some -8an fittings and braided line ready for exactly that, just need to get the bungs on the catch can welded on.

good luck lining up the bolt when trying to put it back in

The Bolt is smaller and doesn't need to be 16mm odd thick as the bolt just clamps the centre steel shaft of the bush to the mount

but there no way in hell the mount will move sandwiched in between the bracket and the sleeve,
from my experience working on quite a few evo race cars and never seen the oem sleeved type mount move at all, (unless the bolt hadn't been tightened) Posted Image
 and you would definitely think a rally car doing massive jumps but nothing, sure you can do this method if you want to but imho its unnecessary mod.

had a massive failure of either something in the universal or the output shaft in the Tcase snapping. The taishaft is junk, the Tcase snapped in half from the force. Alot of carnage and scary as fuck at the speed it happened but it could have been alot worse. There was inch deep gouges in the road from where the front of the tailshaft dug in, luckily it didnt lift the car or make it lose controll. It sounded like a grenade went off under the car when it let go.

what i think happened was one of the circlip's weren't seated properley which caused the cap on the uni to fly off, once that happened the shaft is out of balance in a big way which self destructed taking the transfer case with it......

dude your so lucky that the only damage is a transfer case and tail shaft. If that tail shaft dug in you would be posting pics of pieces of EVO.

Good luck getting it all sorted
