its running now, i can drive it but im going to wait until i get the new ecu in. This stupid timing problem has pissed me off long enough, never got to the bottom of it, just going to get rid of the old ecu and loom and rewire it. I ordered a haltech sport 1000 with wb02,dash and some extra sensors so i can remove the guages in the car and just run everything thru the racepak. Also the oil bypass mod really helped get the pressure down, before i was hitting 100psi+ at cold start and anything over 4krpm driving, now ive got 80 at cold start but havent really driven the car yet so hopefully i ported it enough to stop it creeping.

I'll be interested to see how the Haltech goes keep us posted...I'm on the hunt for an ecu, tossing up between the Haltech and Autronic. Always awesome to get your car back on the road after not driving it for a while :)

How do you find the quality of the AIM products?

It took me ages to go for MOTEC over AIM simply because I thought that quality was a bit better with MOTEC. But you definitely paid for the difference.

What did it end up costing you?

You can't beat the SM4 though.

Racepac does look good though!
The positives over the SDL is that it has small text ie, oil pressure / water temp etc.
The SDL doesn't have that. They only have limited text.
