Hi guys,

I have a set of megan racing coilovers to suit a evo 8/9. they would work on galant or earlier evo with minor modifications. i would use these myself but have decided to go a different route with my suspension setup. i'm chasing $900 plus postage for them, local pickup is available.

clicky

if someone is on GSR/EVO club can they please link to this on there.

Cheers

i don't know about the gsr's, but the galants the lower rear mount needs changing, and the front strut tower needs 2 holes drilling.

mate i think you need to be aiming these at 4 onwards owners as the length of the strut is wrong for early evo/galant, as well as the tops in the front, bottoms in the front and bottoms in the rear.

not try to wreck you sale just adding info to help potential buyers

you can change the bottom of the front ones to get them into a 4-6 though

this forum is just for the earlier guys, it has evo 8-9 owners on it, if you don't have something constructive to ad then don't. and also why it says at the top that if someone is on EVO forums can they please post this on there as i'm not on there.

ey Craig, can you measure the total length of the rear shock from top to bottom please?

bottom of the strut to top of strut hat (mounting) 58cm, overall lengnth is 63cm but they are adjustable in height so you can make it about 10cm shorter if you wanted. are you still chasing that oil filter housing, sorry i've been a bit slack.

from what i can see they look to be very similar, I haven't looked at many evo's so I can't say for sure, but just did a quick search and from the pictures i saw they look like they 'may' bolt in.

can anyone confirm this

the rears are height and damper adjustable. so in a way the camber is adjustable by adjusting the height, but the top hats aren't camber adjustable.

hope this helps
