G'Day Blokes, My evo 9 needs a new clutch. I knew this at the time of buying the car so no big deal, its done 50,000 klm. Car is at Bob Hawkins now, just wondering if anyone can help me pick out a clutch ??? Still new to Evo's. I have 260 kw atw standard 6 speed gear box. I'd like to get a clutch that won't break the gear box ? Any advice will be much appreciated !

ORC single plate carbon clutch i love my one HAHA
Carbon is abit of an overkill- and bloody expensive! I'd go a twin plate exedy if it has 260 GENUINE kw at the wheels.
Why are you worried about breaking gearboxes? You used to own a Subie didnt you??

Go hard =)
twin plate....
It'll last longer than a heavy single and be easier to drive imo..

I got a cusco twin plate, freakin awesome. Less noise than the exedy twin plate, yet same design apparently, still has that little chatter sound. Good thing is, doesn't stink if you do a little hard launch, and still easy to drive around traffic.
Go jap brand! can't go wrong

260kw atw! What mods have you done!?
Motec 800
GarretGT35 Turbo Conversion
Fuel Pump
3 Inch Custom Exhust Turbo Back
Injectors
Runs on two boost settings 17 PSI with 210 KWATW and 24 PSI with 260 KWATW. Still running stock intercooler and standard gearbox.
All the work was done by APC in QLD. Best in the business. Have done 50,000klm since work done without a problem ! Did a 11.996 @ 113mph last weekend, but most runs are between 12 and 12.3 !
