Yeah I've seen a guy on an ADM Evo 8 do it to his, it looks hot as in photos but not sure how good it looks in real life and how long it will last?
Is there a special paint to do it with?
Last thing I want is the paint flaking off and making the whole thing look like shit.

not sure if its a special paint but the ones i have seen done have been baked/sprayed in a proper booth

Just use Matt Black high temp paint. Thats all I used, still as black as when I painted them, thats after 1.5 years.

Pulling apart the headlights and having no problem seems like the hardest part to me though.
Yeah before I bought the evo I always had that planned, maybe next year..theyre pretty expensive..nearly $1k all up for the bar, painted and fitted.

Have since removed the E9 tailights, I dont think they suit the car well enough, the stock E7 lights look more at home.
Fitted a HKS RS Reloaded Intake and the Evo 8MR BOV today, I cant get over how loud the BOV is and the intake sound, love it!
