They have tested the car and no valve problems. Yippee!!
So work to done on the car is as follows.
Engine mounts will be replaced as the ones on it are broken with some Nolethene ones.
New GT Pumps Manifold.
Better Exhaust with Magna flow end.
New timing belt and tensioner.
Whiteline Rear adjustable sway bar.(no way was I going to put that in).
Coming once back home:
Lowered KYB suspension
Front and rear Strut braces
finally Original EVO RS bonnent.
Here is what it looked like before it went to Officer Smith:
A bit sad and sorry!

Stage one has seen:
The timing fixed new tensioners etc and no other issues.
GT Pumps manifold installed
Rear adjustable sway bar added.
Engine mounts changed.
Problem with the Manifold is that my car being auto only has the TD03 turbo on it so it doesnt' fit perfectly. Mech said that it will slowly wear the gasket. So need bigger turbo but cant do it :(until auto gets fixed to handle more power.
Stage Two: (when I get it back)
Upgrade of Suspension
front and rear Strut braces
Exhaust with new cat and magnaflow rear.
Larger Turbo/detune engine but keep licence
Stage three:
Auto upgrade to handle more power
Re-tune engine to benefit from new improvements.
Fingers crossed!
Post some pics when I get the car back cheers!

A good aftermarket ecu should do boost control for you.

I'd stick with a TD05 14b or 16GHey folks:
Stage two of upgrades is about to happen need your advice:

go for evo injectors, much better in every way.RX7 injectors (will these work?)
if at all possible, chip the current one.New tunable ECU (which one)
You can run up to 16 or so psi without a boost controllerboost controller (which one)

Agreed, a 16g will be better in regards to cost and ease of fitment.
Also the power difference is pretty much nothing. Different story if you went with a GT28 or GT30 though.
Mated to my Evo 3 manifold
As above. Just get the fire ring ported out and also the exhaust housing to match. Port the wastegate also to ensure no boost creep.
3" all the way!!!With new exhaust from turbo back.
RX7 injectors (will these work?)
I've got a cheap set for sale if you want.
New tunable ECU (which one)
Depends on your budget and how far you want to go.
My fav is the AUTRONIC SM4. Motec if you want to go the whole hog.
boost controller (which one)
ECU controlled if you go aftermarket (almost all of them do it now).. But the difference would be if they were open loop or closed loop.
Autronic and the newer Motecs do closed loop.
Wolf are open loop
Haltech I dont know (never used one).
As for chipping, you'll have to get a 3rd party controller. Go for anything electronic/closed loop ie ACVR or Eboost2. Bleed valves vary too greatly on a day to day basis depending on air temps etc etc.
Fuel Pump (which one Walbro what amount)
Walbro 255 HP. There should be a part number somewhere on the forum.

Is there an easy quick explaination for the diff in loops or point me to the thread please?

Open loop is when it just pulses the solenoid at a specific rate and depending on the day you may have higher / lower boost thne you are aiming for.
With the 16g, you'll make a solid 180-220kw's with a moderate boost level and a pump fuel. Not sure on an Automatic though...

Check out how low my pads where.
Big thanks to Jerome for doing the work and showing me how it is done it is pretty easy.
Learnt something new when ur brake fluid keeps showing it is empty it could be that your pads are worn, and that your pistons are fully out like mine where. When J pushed the pistons back in the fluid levels filled up again!
What do you reckon folks Red calipers would look great against white rims?

Nope, looks shit. VR4's don't have pretty callipers, why would you want to draw attention to them by painting them red? What do you reckon folks Red calipers would look great against white rims?

Did you do anything about that seized piston?

We where able to push them in however one piston is cracked we came to the determination that due to it being pushed out a rock or something must of hit it and cracked it (maybe) so I will need a caliper rebuild at some stage.
Entrant I will be coming over your place to paint them thanks for offering it is much appreciated! .
I thought the contrast of the red calipers on white rims would be cool like some evo's. But the standard is growing on me I Like the hint of green on them.
