I recall rebuilding / resleeving my clutch slave for more than it was to purchase a new one. But they will last forever being stainless.

Bob's car arrived looking like this...
After a couple of hours it left looking like this...
Kind of a pity the front shocks in the 2ndhand struts are rooted and the fronts have to come out again, but that's a job for another day.
Improvement yes?

Also, I agree with baz. I also love the COLOUR of the rims. Suits the two tone so well. New stance is amazing. It's about as low as it can go and be practical.

I agree with the $200 off for the parts to reco the alternator (fn NOT!!) BUT The wankers said it took them almost 2 hours to take off. How long does it take to remove the alternator I said no longer than 15 mins I should not have to pay for them to learn on should I! There is a reason why I hand the car to them as they are specialists they should only charge what is reasonable I said to them it should not be that long to take off!! What should I DO! to get outta the bill do a video on how long it takes or what?? do you folks agree that it takes 2 hrs to remove the friggen alternator?:fuuuuu:

Did they also do belts or anything like that?
Did any of the nuts / wires seize or break?
It is hard to say..
I know I had to chop my alternator lug to pull of the alternator because the nut was stuffed... I had to put the alternator in a vice (nut) and turn the terminal with a shifter to get it off without damaing the connectors inside..
If it was a straight forward removal, I believe there are a few ways of doing it but the radiator should come out for more space so you don't damage it... you can also take it out from under the car (which saves some time) whereas the general practice would probably be to remove from the top so PS pumps etc have to be moved out of the way....
How well do you know these guys? are they honest?

This included talking shit, throwing stuff at eachother and serving some customers whilst doing the above... at the mechanics.
I'm sure we could go faster...
