rest of parts needed to be primed are done
sideskirts, body moulds, evo 0 grill, mirrors and rocker cover
will be painted tommorrow

holding off on painting the ic piping as yet.
will put them and the ic back on tommorrow
maybe get some pics with the front bar on too

car is out of the garage so can paint the few pther pieces
couple of the front bar for the hell of it...will put some more up this afternoon

bar the rocker cover everything is painted
started to run out of paint also needed a lil more prep
on the rocker cover.

looks like rain coming
so wont be getting thefront bar on today
still waiting for the other bits in the garage to dry.
maybe tommorow

still ALOT to do...got to sort out
insurance side of things too.
cant do that until its back together
so i can send pics in to shannons
In saying that i didnt get to take the car
on last years cruise so i really want to
make this one. Had a great time last year
be good to meet up with everyone again
new and old

Why do you need to send photo's to shannons. I have been insured with them for 8 years with 2 modified cars & never have needed to send photos.

Its been off the road since the bonnet flew up and smashed the roof...to get full cover again i have to prove that is back in good order. Talked to them today. They want photos of the car with dates on them before they will
fully cover it again. Makes sense.

Hopefully you can get it together enough to drive this weekend. I am very interested in seeing the finished product.

It WAS WHITE mo....
Once i new i was going to be putting the bodykit on i was going to have to paint practically the whole car again. I no white looks nice on vr4s but with a custom kit comes a custom colour...I like it

Still yet to see it all together at all...EVER
but seeing the parts painted and the colour on the car
getting an idea of what it is going to look like

Yes i had the idea of putting the evo kit on but he has made that a reality

Its been a long process and im sure hes sick of me nagging him, bugging him, annoying him the whole time ( his whole life ) im his big brother HAHA

Its given me a huge amount of respect for panelbeaters/spray painters. Sure i new what he did but to see it first hand the time and the effort it takes to prepare and finish to a certain standard is remarkable.

I think the car is just as much his as it is mine.
Hell kill me if i even get a chip or scratch on it HAHA
im scared to drive it

Hes even showed me how i have to shut the boot and bonnet to stop from denting it

Colour looks sweet even with factory skirts
better without the chrome strip too i reckon
