call me technologically challenged, but I'm considering getting an MP3/video player and I'm trying work out the difference between 2 models.
What is Mp4? Are both of the below players MP4 compatible?http://www.dealsdire...3-video-player/

Which one is the goer?

mp4 are movie files matty.. basically just really compressed/low quality video files. watching them on a computer screen will be really bad and blurry but on the screen of portable players like psp's and mp3 players it's great quality.
out of those two, i'd go the 30gig, battery life seems better aswell which is the main thing i look for.

I've got a creative zen mp3, it's fantastic, software is not a problem to use, sound quality is amazing, cheaper than an ipod, etc.
The ones I'm looking at aren't for me, they're for a present.

Well divx, xvid is what is primarily used and that is based on Mpeg4.
I had a Zen 20gb Mp3 years ago and it was a good thing. Software was excellent.
