About your exhaust katlyn, my 2cents; arnt you wanting to throw a turbo motor in there in a yr or 2 so wasting money on a nice full 2.25inch NA exhaust is probably silly.

Or maybe find a muffler thats louder but with a much better note (than a cannon, i hate cars, more often than not automatic lancers with "revolution", or "evo racing" stickers all over them with FART sounding cannon exhausts).

Dont take it the wrong way im just very opinionated on the topic lol.
I have heard a magnaflow mufflers give wrx motor a much deeper note than many wrx exhausts mostly with cannons sticking out the back.
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/02muffler.asp

But for that price you could maybe go a varex. And keep brian happy when ya come home at night haha.

On a stock exhaust finding a muffler other than a cannon (one that is larger, like the oval ones that will give a deeper note due the the larger volume)thats still loud could be the go.
You could probably digg something no-name oval shaped muffler up without spending 300 bucks. Maybe ask an exhaust shop, something loud but with a deeper note than a cannon.

I just have a vendeta against lancers that are often an auto, with a cannon that drive down the street sounding like a long fart hahah

Otherwise its the 99dollar special cannon for the win...... at least you not wasting heaps of money if you upgrade later.
At super(elcheapo) they have cannons that adapt to small exhaust systems (rather than a 3inch inlet) maybe have a squiz.

still they will prob sound like a fart. lol... im gonna stop my rant, i had way too much coffee at work hey

If you put the Varex on you won't wake him up when you come home at 2am so you might as well stay out all night..

If you can wait about 1.5 seconds at the most for the valve to fully open you should be happy :D

You'll be more pre-occupied with finding and pushing the button on the keyfob near your ignition to open the valve before you even go stamping your right foot down...

haha hi katelyn :P yeah the bonnet is looking hmmm well i'm 120% positive the poor car has seen better days :( funny story actually which u could prob let brian know...there was this big highway patrol bus doing this roadblock (right in front of a single lane bridge too - in front of thornlie tafe) that was pulling over dodgy looking vehicles and mega hotted up ones (like a really low, black, big chromie S15) but i managed to get waved through.

as for exhausts good choice with the varex certainly keep daddy happy lol did you end up getting ur shift light etc working that day?

and if anyone looks at the timestamp on this...i've just finished cramming for my exam which i have in hmm 5hrs now :D

oh sorry, ignore my rant then hahah i thought you had an NA! i thought brian said he ripped the turbo motor out. my mistake.

Varex seems to be all the rage, ill prob get one soon to.

If you get something made up in mild steel exhausts arnt that expensive, like 800 for a system without a cat tho, add a few 100 for the cat. Probably the sest place to start.

Personally I think the E3 skirts, pods and rear wing are a bit chunky and if you're keeping the standard bonnet I reckon they would mis-match with the smoother E1/2 bar. Either go the full E3 kit or not at all IMO.

There's heaps of good looking GSRs with standard bonnets and spoilers, the E1/2 bars and either E1/2 or even standard GSR skirts which I reckon look great (check out Dean's GSR).

At the end of the day though it's your car and it's the differences in everybody's personal likes and wants which makes our car scene so much fun, but since you were asking I thought I'd respond. Either way you go with it, I'm keen to see how it turns out.

But what's with the Altezza clear taillights you've got listed in your sig....?.

I'll have to save up some more....dam being a student sucks!

But I'm getting my new stereo fitted today! Yay!

And Ii know everyone says they don;t like altezza lights but I LOVE mine! They make the car different and more girly :P

As for the bodykit it's not definate yet I change my mind all the time but the front bar is coz that's what dad say's lol...even tho I'd prefer an evo 5 front bar...

I'll check out dean's car now!
