In Topic: 2007 TEAM4G DRAG DAY - HEATHCOTE RACEWAY

05 March 2008 - 11:39 PM

Gooch came to a meet we had tonight and he said he is waiting for the person who had one of the other cameras (the one at the end of every run) to pass on the footage that they captured. There's no point sending out footage of a whole bunch of starts- is there?

Gooch (and others) went out of their way in the searing heat to capture the footage, so don't come up in here and start acting like a typical poobaru driver and start running your mouth- because mate, your car aint that fast, and if your "event" videos are on youtube within 48 hours then why didn't you bring your own camera crew with you and take your own footage? Or are you the one with the bullshit excuses?

LOL i just said what everyone has been thinking, A good idea is to just send out bits and pieces to youtube then you keep everyone happy. Then for the complete DVD product send that out when it's finished even if it takes 12 months. That way everyone has had their hit of youtube action and happy.

My car does alright for an old Boonga.... no need to get nasty, I was just stirring the ancient Subaru Vs Mitsubish debate.... you need some happy pills.

4 months and no video... FFS come on. Send me all the footage and I'll have it done within a day and they'll be no BS excuses.

Proves indeed that Subaru's are so much faster... we the videos of our events on youtube within 48 hours.... not 48 years.

:P

Government funding would be good but has nothing to do with the police. Those cop cars are setting a good example and trying to do the community thing. I don't mind it, hoping to race one next time and give it a floggin :)

$65 for 5 runs... JOKE!

Heathcote was $40 for 25 runs!!!

Thanks for a top day and letting us come play. What a great bunch of people and cars, we'll definetely drive over next year. We stayed on with the Ford Club and it rained and we lost 1.5 hours of track time. By then the temperature dropped to 20'C but the track had cooled as well, doh.

I managed 11.4X x 2 runs in 32'C and could only manage one decent 11.5 in the cool evening runs. Amazing how much grip a hot track will give you.

Mark's Liberty (the white one) was the only casualty snapping one of the rear drive shafts!!
