And slapping a piston engine in an RX-7 just defeats the purpose of owning one.


Well, that's one way of looking at it, but here's another....

The RX-7 is a nice looking car, so whats wrong with putting an engine in there that is more reliable....

Best of both worlds.... RX-7 styling combined with a tough as nails turbo 4 or 6.

The rotary is a great engine, the sound, the endless revs (I still like them, even with the problems)... but do you know of one that hasn't required a rebuild?
Even the RX-8's with a new MSPRE (Multi Side Port Rotary Engine) are being recalled for loss of vacuum... if they don't pass the test, masda is installing a complete new engine.

Happy Valley is about 10 mins from my house....

I wish Entaran had told you I would check it out....

I helped him out once before... even made a video of the inspection and sent it to him via FTP client.

If you still need it checked out, let me know.
