to help me decide whether to rebuild or start fresh im selling my car.

the prices have been set very low IMO for a quick sale. im offering to sell the car as a whole (saves headache for me and you) or part it out. but the thing is if i cant sell all the parts then there is no use parting out half a car (if that makes sense).

the car as a whole is forsale for $4500 australian dollars

with this you will get:

-GT25 garrett turbo. realy low km's, no shaft play very quick spooling + 14b stock turbo ($700)

-spare alternator and starter motor

-spare VR4 front grill ($50)

-Manual and auto boxes ($100 each)

-BRAND NEW EXEDY CLUTCH (literally only has done 30 odd km's) ($400)

-RX7 injectors ($200)

-Spare 18"rims (very low profile and wide ;) needs one
new tire ($650)

-stock rims with new tread to pass rego

-new drivers side seatbelt to pass rego :P

-TEIN coilovers. makes the car handle great. firm, stiff...FUN! i love this car for its suspension. ($700)

-LINK PLUS ECU. tuned and ran 12seconds over the 1/4 + jap ecu ($1000)

-3" turbo back exhaust. custom modded to suit 14B turbo but also have piping to fit the GT turbo ($700)

-ALPINE DECK, 1000w amp, 12" type R alpine sub. 250rms rockford fosgate amp, mb quart splits, pioneer splits + stock speakers ($1000)

-battery relocated to boot

-CAI

-full tank of petrol! 98 octane

i hope no one gets annoyed by me doing this. its just i would rather sell it all, but if it isnt gone within a week or so then il keep it and work on it myself.

thanks to just jap in kirrawee my warrentied engine has turnt into a expensive paper weight.

was thinking about putting the car on ebay to sell for about 4K. (has coil overs, two turbo's (obviously only one fitted), link ecu, 40km old exedy clutch, turbo back zorst, rx7 injectors, and alot of audio equipment).

but not alot of people are buying right now, so i was also thinking just parting it out.

but then my mate said it would be better off keeping it and reconditioning for 2K-ish or buying a new engine.

the reason i would prefer not to buy an engine is because the car already has rego, blue slip etc and iv already spent heaps getting the car on the road.

what do you guys think? iv already spent heaps on the car. thanks!

engine stoppped working again...warrenty?

last night the engine stopped working. no bang, no noise just alot of oil sitting on the left of the gearbox. the radiator has water and there is no goo in the radiator/dipstick or anywhere.

my mate says hopefully maybe its just a seal?

what do you guys think? its realy shitting me as iv been baby-ing the car to stop this happening, i was even driving at only 90 on the M4

two more days till warrenty runs out..what do you think i should do?

engine number?

going to get a blue slip tomorrow but need an engine number first. on my aus engine the engine number had 4G63 then under it had two letters and four numbers...the jap engine has only 5 letters under the 4G63.

is this the right engine number?
