#311395 FS: VR4/GSR/EVO1-3 PARTS + OTHER RANDOMS

Posted by GVR40 on 20 December 2014 - 07:34 AM

Do you know exactly what else I'd need to fit this into my Galant VR4?

Does it bolt upto the VR4 engine mounts, gearbox, sump?

Can I bolt the stock VR4 ancillaries onto it? AC pump/bracket, alternator, PS pump/bracket.

Has is been bored previously?

I tried looking for that 'Stroke or not' .pdf document to find a bit more solid info about it but I couldn't find it.

Cheers.

mo

front and rear roll stoppers are in a different spot on the gearbox rather than on the block

vr4 ancillaries should all bolt to it without an issue

talk to troy he has stroke - in his opinion the best option is 2.2l stroker using a 94mm crank. needs some machining work on the 4g63 block for it to fit thought

changing the engine that they have gone with for nearly 15 years was a disapointment.

i think you mean nearly 25 years. the first vr4 (aka evo 0) came out in 87 :)

1. It doesn't matter how much I paid for them, or when I got them, or where I got them.
2. If your not going to buy them or make an offer then don't post
3. milkandoj - whats with the link?

do you go into your local shops and ask the guys selling stuff how much they paid for it?

if anyone is going to ask any genuine legitimate questions about the wheels them please PM me.

#208391 E85 Info

Posted by GVR40 on 15 August 2010 - 12:04 AM

you use around 30% more E85 than ULP98 to go the same distance. Brisvr4 on here uses E85 in his vr4 with only a single walbro pump. He is also running standard fuel lines with an upgraded filter and pressure reg (from memory) he has upgraded the line between the filter and the rail. He is running 11.49 quater mile... the advantage of E85 is that you can advance the timing alot more as it is much more stable than ULP.

you should probably upgrade the injectors and the fuel pump as well as the fuel filter, I have heard the stocko is a BIG flow restrictor.
