Was running on car have decided to go LS1 coils for simplicity. They are a Coil pack for a Chrysler V6. The SS plate they are mounted on is average. you can buy a plate specific for a 4G63 from Ebay US. see jew tube video

Micks GSR wrecking mostly $20 sale

well not much left and rather than let the rest of it go to the dump I will sell the rest cheap cheap. if its not listed ask as i have only taken the big stuff out. reason so cheap is that it will cost freight to get it shipped. small stuff will be via aus post in a bag. large stuff ask me for the size and you can get a quote off e-go. from townsville use depot as im happy to drop it off.

The GSR was the dark mettalic grey. not sure on the code. its around somewhere.


the list

* rear bumper grey. has marks and stuff $20

* bonnet small dint in battery area $20

* side skirts. pair unpainted. plastic. not EVO ones $20

* full dash crash pad. good nic. has GSR badge glued on it $20

* rear CV's. appear to be ok not sure on the condition $10 hold

* rear tail lights pair no cracks $20 hold

* front head lights. 1 light new, 1 ok. no cracks will throw in the indicators if u want them $20 hold

* air con condensor ? (. the bit in the car that makes it cold ). was suppose to work. unsure if leak free. $10

* rear diff. stocko GSR . not LSD $ 20

* front struts. lowered to suit GSR. has KYB shocks and king springs $40

* doors. drivers has a small ding. rest are good. comes with GSR trim and window and switches. if enough interest in motors, switches and trims i may separate. $40 / door as packing them will be painful

* magna TR (?) calipers. same as VR4 twin piston comes with brand new pads $40 hold

* 4 x 700 cc injectors. Denso's $200 with free delivery

motor has only done about 5000 ks since rebuild 3 years ago. Have some of the receipts for the engine.
For some reason the clutch wont engage. no idea why will see if i can fix it. *clutch fixed. just needed to be bleed properly*


Interior

Seats in good nic appart from the passener seat has a slight stain.
All electrics work well
Tint in good condition
Carpet ok.
Stereo works
Splits in front and rear.

Exterior
Front passenger has dint but have a new guard
Has a deep scratch that runs accross the bonnet, guard and drivers door
has other scratches as well. paint isnt too bad
rims have gutter rash and tyres arnt much chop
has slotted rotors and new pads. front and rear.

The good Bits

* Installed 4G63T 2.0 L one about 65000

* Installed chinese Egay intercooler

* Adaptronic 420B aftermarket unit and tuned running 7psi. very nice tune

* 2.5" mandrel bent turbo back exhaust system with high flow cat and centre offset turbo muffler

* 550cc injectors

* Excedy Heavy Duty Racing Clutch Kit (~1800 lbs)

* KYB gas struts/shock absorbers all corners

* King Low Springs all corners - upgraded to GSR/EVO size on the front

The Bad

* Paint is shagged

* has 175/70. 13 on the front with steel rims. no traction much

* carpet not flash

* front left guard has a dint. have a spare

* boot lid has a fint. have a GSR 1 with holes in it.

* drivers door as well. have spare

* has a leak from the gear box which i think is fixed


i have put 15psi into it in a tune and found it almost undrivable. it really needs some decent rubber on the front.

fun car sad to see it go.

4G63 7 bolt Evo 1 motor

4G63 turbo 7 bolt. from evo 1
was running in a car prior to removal made 205kw @15psi.

Head
HKS cams 272 apparently
HKS adjustable gears
Mild port job on intake
Looks like new valves
Was over hauled apparently
Heavy duty valve springs.

Block
arp head studs
standard bore
standard pistons
standard botom but was rebuilt apparently.
Still has balance shafts.

What comes with it
Intake manifold. I think it's a evo. It's definitely not off a vr4
Exhaust manifold. Xforce. Been re welded so it might be ok. Bin job if u don't want it
Power steering pump
Lower timing cover. Best 1 I have seen in a while. Only slight mark on it.
Thermostats housing
Fuel rail if u want it I think it's a stocko 1.
Tappet cover is cracked. Maybe fixable if u can weld alloy
Leads? (bin?)
Centre cover for plugs. Bent like all of them.
Has the evo engine mount as well.
Sump.


Things missing
Alternator. Was cactus any way
Upper timing cover
Top cam cover.
Throttle body
Fly wheel.. will have to check.





The bore has marks in it. See photos's. I have post them on Performance forums to find out what has happened as there is a few very very good engine builders. One of the best machinests i have ever seen said this about the bore.

None of the above!
Not a clearance issue, but has been burning oil, those marks are from chunks of carbon coming loose from the crowns of the pistons & being dragged up & down the bores by the rings.
It has been run excessively rich & has been burning oil.
That's the bad news, the good news is I can't see anything that'd stop it being just fine with a fresh set of rings, a hone on the bores (proper hone, not a 3 leg thing in a drill) & a clean up.
Looks pretty good actually, a few little marks left after the hone won't do squat, so long as there are no horizontal grooves or high spots left to catch the rings.
I'd run it with a re-ring & not loose any sleep over it.
