#343255 ENGINR Lancer Coupe

Posted by Clive on 09 February 2022 - 09:14 AM

Hey mate,

sorry to hear about the bingle, but good that your getting back on (in) the horse so to speak.

The up side is that you get to do more stuff to the car to make it better.

Cheers, Clive

#291444 am I unreasonable?

sometimes making a hard decision on the dog's behalf is maybe what the dog might want if only it could say so itself.

We put our staffy down (sniff) at 13 when she couldn't eat anymore but after the fact, putting ourselves in her paws, decided that was too late. (more sniff)

#287105 272 Camshafts?

Posted by Clive on 20 October 2013 - 10:23 AM

I've got BC 272's with stock springs and they seem to be all right in my 6.

I recall getting maybe 10kw more with them and they don't seem to make the engine fell much different.

#286489 Broke my EVO again :-/

but the nitrous will be the test

OMG, and here is me worrying about breaking E9 pistons on E85.

I can only dream of  a nos capable engine.

Christmas is coming tho' can I fit a 2.6l stroker kit in a stocking? :P

#278605 Evo6 pros and cons

Posted by Clive on 15 June 2013 - 05:37 AM

My 6 is great on the track leaves the GSR for dead down the straight but the GSR feels more comforable to drive even though it's got 6 suspension (in the front at least) Did a PI in the GSR and it cornered as well as the EVO but I think at a slower speed. Down the straight the TD04 said 'wtf' and just ran out of puff. Don't drive the 6 on the road except to get to/from events, and repairs ;-)

#252429 wanted to buy section

I understand the 75 post requirement for the for sale section to stop flybys but what's the logic of having the same limit for wanted to buy?
