I had a constant battle with a leaky oil return as well, the answer for me was unfortunately to just buy all new OEM parts. I purchased a new OEM oil return, OEM oil return line gaskets, OEM bolts, and washers. Apparently the flanges had warped over time and we tried to get them flat with a fine file but it didn't work. I would be cautious about applying threebond liberally over the gaskets as you can easily put too much on and it will choke the flow of the oil return when you tighten the return line. Good luck.

Awesome car bud, we have those Mirage's in the states but very, veeeeeeery few have been turbo'd, and I can't think of any of that generation that were converted to AWD. Nice.
