evo 3 2000 rpm engine hunt

Hey guys, anyone know what could be going on? Engine warmed up, in neutral start to rev slowly, around 2k rpm, constant throttle it suddenly dips about 500rpm then back up, and dips again etc... If i rev higher it doesnt happen. Doesn't happen at idle either.
