In Topic: [VIC] Dyno Day - 2012 Springy Motors - Saturday 14th April

18 April 2012 - 06:28 AM

Noooooo! Darn it! I was hoping to catch the next one. Being this one. Haven't logged on in a bit and this is what happens. Hehe too bad it had to coincide with cambodian new year and my sister's birthday. I really do hope to make the next one. Please make the topic a bit
more noticeable also as I'm old and my eyes are starting to fail me, now.
So what's the results like? Btw did u find a buyer for your car yet baz? Did u take your new setup for a dyno on that day? Be real interesting to find out.
:)

Yo who owns the grey on blue evo 3/gsr? Ute? I saw out driving down stud rd in a couple months back. I do believe it to be a forum member as I saw a pic of it on one of springy motor dyno days. It's been bugging me since as I really want to know if it's an evo or gsr. Btw, nice ride who ever you are. It really does stand out and looks quite light... How does it go, bruh?

Not meaning to revive an old thread, but was the first post blank? Or is my mobular just buggered?

Then next post says its epic. What's epic bro, what? I know the definition of epic. I am just curious as to what is being described as such.

Cheers.

I wanna be down too.

In Topic: Clutch Install help

29 February 2012 - 04:40 AM

Thanks lads for the replies. Its very much appreciated. :)

Though the clutch is fitted via bazeng's recommended guy and I know its not 100 % as of yet, surprisingly after the first week or so of breaking it in and everything seems to be falling onto place. Though the clutch friction is still the same as when I left the workshop, the drivability has improved alot. Thankfully it's not as bad as the mechanic thought it may be. Which I'm thankful for that. Did a better job of it than he thought I geuss. Hehe anyways i'd be glad to recommend him to anyone if you want me to. Hehe also can you let him know to let e know when or if he could round up the other bits and pieces. Thanks again barry for the hookup as I really do appreciate it as your guy did go out of his way to do extra bits and pieces which he didn't have to
do, but did at a great rate without compromise to work quality. But most importantly a great bloke to deal with and not someone who tries to take you for what they can. In fact the complete opposite. That's how much I appreciated his help that I felt compelled to let others know too. Though I didn't mention him directly as I'm insure as to wether he'd want the extra business or not. LoL.

haha good point. i geuss i kind of get carried away at times with the ranting. though as post counts are really quite an insignifcant point and if that was my point i would have seperated that one post into a few different posts and so on, but yes i do agree with the rest of what you said.

i guess after hearing what he went through and then thinking back about how disappointed with their work too i was, though i cant be anywhere near as pissy as i imagine he may be.

Though early december last year isn't really too long ago when you think about it. A couple of months for trying to take things through the legal path seems reasonable and i was just wondering if he got any progress with it.

About the grammer and spelling - when ranting I at times forget to check myself. which makes me feel all the more the fool when i think back about it. hmm... i recall i commented on another thread about something along those lines and i think i did state that it's a "no-no" for reasons i dont think anyone reading this part of the forum would be interested in. Also something i said to someone else but i'll leave it as that.

The threat wasnt really a threat but more a suggestive idea, of sorts. i didn't say "Yo, i'm gonna drive-by you" or nothing like that. just a bad brainstorm that may have come out wrong?

But seriously, Yes, thanks. you obviously are right about what you said. i really did get carried away a lil toooo much. my apologies if it came across the wrong way.

my bad, lads.
