Someone may reply.
But yeah FB has screwed the site (and most forums).. not sure why as FB is basically useless for this sort of thing But that’s what everyone seems to use now (got to follow the trend) even though after a week or so the info is off in the abyss never to be found again…. but I suppose most people these days only have an attention span of about 30secinds (if that) and only give a crap about themselves so as long as the question they ask is answered they don’t care if anyone else may need the same info….
Anyways. Hope you’re enjoying the new car.

Bringing up an oldie here but as the VID links dont work anymore I thought I’d add this in..
Not sure if these are the missing videos from the first page or what but they are pretty decent ones to show you how to test
both the IC’s and the IAC coils.
IC TEST, Not sure if this is a 100% sure thing but I’m sure that some of the gurus out there can confirm or not if this is a good
usable way to do a quick test without having to pull the ECU out etc….
Mine metered out as PIN1-0.579, PIN3-0.579, PIN4-0.577 and PIN6-0.577 so I assume it’s good.

"Note, a new chassis plate has been affixed stating that the car is earlier than it actually is - allowing it to be road registered as a grey import.. Concerning, but either way, wait a couple of years and it will be registeratble as an Evo 3."
LoL.. No it won't....

I'm pretty sure there are some other mitsi's from around the same year that have a very similar key. I know one of my Magna's had the same looking key with the red glowing mitsi symble when you press the button. I may still have it around here some where. I'll have a look.

And Yeah, what Evo-GSR said...
If you post all the findings, pix etc here to keep it all together that would be great.
I can then link to this thread for any Evo 1 owners in my thread and you could link to mine from here for any Evo 3 owners.
Sound good ??

I'm the guy that wrote the write up on the E3 remote entry module programming.... I've never seen the module in an E1 but I do know it's not the same as an E3's one.. I've read somewhere that the module is in the drivers door of an E1 but don't quote me on that !! If you find the module and it has the same sort of switch (SET-FIX-SET) on it as an E3 does then it should be the same type of process, if not then who knows !!!!
Anyone else shed some light here ??
P.s. Here's a quick link to the thread so you can see the switch I'm talking about.

If your looking for an early EVO, the first thing to do is look for the yellow personal import approval plate/sticker..
If it doesn't have a yellow personal import approval plate in the engine bay, don't touch it, don't even bother looking at the rest of the car as there is no other way to have one 100% legit in NSW... simple.....
So..
If it has a yellow plate then treat the purchase like you would any other car.. If all numbers etc match up, condition and price are good.. Buy it...
If it has a yellow plate and all matches up but it is in poor condition... Seeing as there very rare, still buy it... LOL...
If it doesn't have a yellow plate regardless of its condition, it currently being rego'd, etc etc etc... Forget it, DONT TOUCH IT !!!

The blue one is for the rear window wiper switch...
And from what I can tell from that pic the white one is the ignition switch plug !?
Maybe get a clearer pic of just the plug you want info on... Try an show what colour wires are going to it...

Clearly a photoshop job though.
Evo I-III just doesn't suit flare guards.
That pic is 100% photo chopped. Maybe not the whole body kit but it's Definitely been edited..
And yeah not a big fan of flared I-III's either.. When done right the front doesn't look to bad but the rear just doesn't work....
But wide body on the other hand !! (Ie DOUGMO's). Now that's another story...

This is the private message I got from him last night
"Im sorry last post i give description without as per picture..im forget to upload my wiring socket pic.thanks.."
@ HAFEEZ
I assume you want to know what a particular plug is for that's in your wiring harness. ????
If so, please take a photo of the plug / harness and post it up here so we can have a go at sorting it out for you.
I not being an ass but it's very hard to understand what you need to know. And as they say pictures tell a thousand words. so maybe that's the way to go.

Answers:for those who haven't seen the ad A. is she hot and B. does she put out?
A, You tell me (pic below).? I don't think I'd kick her out of bed if she farted, But I'm not sure if that's because of her looks or if it's because she drives an early EVO !!!
B, Can't answer that one as I don't know...
