You can pick the Evo 8 and 9's for about between 12 to 22k depending on milage and condition and a Used Evo X for around 28K USD

Why do that when I can buy an Evo 8 for 13 or 14K USD? Reguardless though lol Im still in college about to raise me a little one. The girlfriend would not be happy with me.

The reason most of us do not go with the Evo engine is because its way more money than its really worth. There are guys pushing 350 with the SOHC fully built 2.0 4G94s all day easy around here. By the time I do the full Evo swap with all the custom fab and getting all the parts I was better off taking the money and buying one but there is a do able swap the 4G64 with the 4G63 Head. It is harder for us New Lancers to do it than it is with the old school 02's and below years are.
