Wow talk about epic thread revival at just the right time for me!!! Am looking at doing a clutch cylinder upgrade to reduce pedal travel.
I was trying to avoid the standard " Did you try the search function!"

I have this turbo.

Runs on their manifold.

Great for a track car, extremely responsive and makes 200kw @ all fours on 22 psi or there abouts.

200wkw in an EVO is a weapon on any surface! Has she got much left in her?
If I changed to E85 or changed the turbo I could get more power but even at the current level the car stripped 4th gear at Eastern Creek a few years ago under load so I will just leave it there. It is reliable and touch wood I have had no engine issues in the four years since the rebuild.
It has a pretty good power curve with the 68HTA turbo which also benefits me at the track. Last weighin was 1230 with me in the car

Go with a set of Bendix Ultimates or similiar and you will need to bleed your brakes to remove the spongyness.

Found this on PF. I know some people in QLD where looking for a fully caged blue plated car.

We (Paul Pyyvaara - pp, and I - Ted Looi) have a 1992 Mitsubishi Lancer GSR with only 149700kms for sale. It is an Australian Delivered car, with full Queensland registration till January 2016.
The car was purchased as a road car in 2010 and has travelled about 20000kms since. With its owners trying to re-live their glory days, it was bought with the intention of being turned into a tarmac and dirt rally car that could be driven to and from events. As such, it was built with safety, reliability and ease of driving as the primary aims and no expense was spared. It has been garaged the whole time we have had it, and presents well. However, as we have hardly used it in the last couple of years, its time for someone else to be rewarded with it.
Engine has been pulled down, checked and put back together luckily, then maintained by Robin Berardo at PerFOURmance. Running stock boost levels, it has forged pistons, headwork, Evo3 turbo, 3” exhaust, larger front mount intercooler with custom pipework and makes enough power to keep its aging owners amused.
The interior has been stripped to accommodate the custom steel weld-in rollcage with side intrusion. New seats (on runners) and belts were also installed, along with the navigator footrest, intercom and trip meter. The dash also sports a basic stereo for some tunes during long transports and the cutout switch.
The underbody will show a set of Ksport coilovers with modified springs, large and strong sump guard, 15” OZ wheels with tarmac tyres or 14” factory rims with gravel tyres and fancy red mudflaps. Brakes are factory calipers with slotted rotors.
The bodywork still shows its original paintwork with an Evo 1 front bar and Evo 2 bootlid added.
This car would suit from a newcomer to motorsport, to another ageing person who is after a car that is heaps of fun and cheap to run. For $9500, you can have this fun without having to spend anything else. If you can't afford that amount, then get your negotiation skills working as you never know how charitable we can be.
A very comprehensive spares package is available (doors, bootlid, front bar, engine, aftermarket dampers with lowered springs, gearbox internals, front LSD, 17” OZ wheels, Greddy emanage).

Why wouldn't the insurance pay out on it?
