Need help installing GReddy Profec B Spec Boost Controller

29 August 2014 - 03:35 AM

I'm wanting to install my GReddy Profec B Spec Boost controller but need some help. Currently running a 44mm TiAL External Wastegate @ 22PSI & a SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator

I have wired the controller up, it's powering as it should, I just need to hookup the hoses.

Need help with the following:

> Behind the boost controller is a port (Pressure Inlet) which a hose is attached to, then a Air filter, then another hose at the other end of the air filter, this is then supposed to be connected using a 3 way joint between the fuel regulator and the intake manifold.
*Where abouts should I tap into? The hose going from the top of the fuel regulator to the intake manifold has already been tapped into for my boost gauge.

The boost controllers motor box has a OUT and IN port round the back
> The OUT port is supposed to have a hose going from the motor box to the external wastegate.
*My wastegates port already has a hose going down to the turbo, do I just tap into this hose or is there another way to connect to the wastegate?

> The IN port is supposed to have a hose going from the motor box to the intake manifold.
*The port on my intake manifold is already used up going to the blow off valve, do I just tap into this hose?

The instructions are at the following link - http://www.greddy.co...Rofec_Bspec.pdf

How to identify if a headlight is rhd or lhd without plugging in?

25 July 2014 - 12:01 PM

Hey guys,

Looking to buy some angel lights for my Evo 5 but need to be sure they're rhd before I buy them.

The lights are out of the sellers Evo 6 (they will fit right?) so just wondering if there's any marking on the headlight that indicate whether they're rhd or lhd lights.

Cheers!

Need help with making brackets to mount headlights in Evo 5

22 July 2014 - 03:52 AM

Hey guys.

I have a Mitsubishi Evolution 5 which was taken off the road for an illegal modification. Half a year later and thousands gone in getting it ready to be road legal again it failed its inspection because of my aftermarket headlights.
My headlights were projecting light in the opposite direction so is believed to be built to usa spec for lhd cars.

I bought some factory headlights yesterday but I can't mount them as my stock headlight brackets were removed by the previous owner during the installation of the aftermarket headlights.

The bracket is supposed to be riveted to the guards.

I've tried looking for the part but most places incl Mitsubishi say it's part of the guard assembly so cannot be sold separately.
As a last resort I'd prob have to get them custom made. Has anyone made these before that can point me in the correct direction?

Cheers.

Do Bride low max replicas fit Evo 5 standard rails?

20 May 2014 - 04:30 AM

Hey.

Found some Bride Low max seats for really cheap which are probably replicas.

Would they fit my Evo 5 standard rails?

Cheers.

What's the best wheel size/offset for Evo 5??

08 April 2014 - 09:26 AM

Hey guys.

What is the best wheel size/offset for a Evo V?

Have booked my Evo V in for a engineers certification for Monday to certify my car to use wheels bigger than the factory O.Z 17x7.5.

I recently bought some 18x8.5 Rota Grids in Flat Black but I just sold them today as my friends recommended me going to 18x10 if I'm going to go to all the trouble of buying new tyres and setting up my suspension, may aswell have the best fitment.

I need to buy some new wheels before Monday so I can chuck them on the car to get them certified otherwise I'll have to stick to my standard wheels.

Will 18x10 fit on my Evo V and will I need work done on the body (Evo V has plastic flares)?
I have BC Gold adjustable suspension, the fronts allow a small amount of negative camber but I don't think I can adjust the rears.
Do I need spacers & camber arms to make 18x10 fit?

I want to buy rims I can keep for my next cars also (maybe S2000, STI, newer Evo, Silvia, etc). Not looking to get stretched tyres as only one brand in my country is legal for them and they are quite expensive.

Thanks.
