Hahaha yeah bro.... your engine can handle a lot more then a Td06!!!!

I have a sus feeling your engine could handle around 400kw atw!!!!!

This suss feeling of yours always has me baffled! Would be great if anyone knew more about so called "crate engines"...

Shame that Td06 ain't gonna fit...

Nice clutch line! Surprised you didn't do that earlier! Is that slave cylinder off another car?

Will visit soon and rattle your brain some more... keep up the tinkering! Lol!

Ahh right, hence the turbo hanging off the back of the motor...

Are there any benefits in the design of the Evo 7 head?

I think the benefits are more for him and not the car... :P (Gives him 40 more kws in reverse! Shhh!)

He takes great pride in giving people with ocd's the shits because of 'Mitsubishi & DOHC 18valve' being upside-down.  :w00t:

I for one still can't get my head around it... Looks wrong but when he's done (sometime next century) it'll be just right!

Yo Jay... it looks weird having the twin mufflers! Maybe you should change it to a single perhaps? LOL!!!

If it looks weird having the single... then maybe you should change it again to the twin?!? LOL!!!

Damn it! Just finish it and then build the Farm Truck!!! (http://www.discovery...er-the-hood.htm) So you can tow my sorry a$$ around town!

Jay you will never be finished with this car , constanly evolving into something better

More like being indecisive but he's getting better at it... slowly! (Jokes :P)

Hey guys,

Thanks for the welcome! Im in the process of organising a paid account as Im using my facebook login which doesnt allow me to upload pics. I've emailed the support person so hopefully I can close this account and open a proper, paid one using the same username.

I'm out Werribee ways in Melbourne and out here I've only seen one GSR/EVO conversion in the 3 years I've been here. Very rare indeed which is why I get lots of looks out here.

I've seen how you can buy internals for turbos online to upgrade or repair your turbos but I hear what your saying about TD05 internals not fitting into a TD04. Bit of a size difference if you ask me, but what do I know? I'm just a humble 4G93 owner with little knowledge other than knowing its a good car to drive..lol

Welcome to the forums! Congrats on the purchase!

To be honest if she's your daily driver and reliability is of the utmost priority... then try to do as little as possible... focus on maintaining the car. There's plenty of old gear on the car that could do with some updating... suspension wise. The roads out here aren't very forgiving with all the road works happening. You can save up for a conversion at a later stage...

Man... you've only seen one?!? Really?!? LOL! Then again... if it ain't a holden or a ford, you're bound to get looks regardless!

Good luck with it all and have fun sorting through the forums!
