A cordia to actually respect

01 March 2008 - 02:48 AM

We have all given cordia drivers a hard time(especially one) in the past but this car is something to be truelly respectful of, one of the earliest AWD turbo mitsu's.

01 January 2008 - 05:26 AM

Ok guys after the long and painful process of building my car i am after something rear wheel drive.

Specs:
- 1991 3 door Lancer GSR (body and chassis have done around 250,000km)
- 4G63T from 1991 VR4 (50,000km since rebuild)
- td05 big 16G turbo
- standard GSR gearbox
- exedy heavy duty clutch
- custom made 2" black cooler piping
- front mount intercooler fitting well in standard GSR front bar
- custom made 2.5" exhaust from turbo back. only one muffler and cat (no tip) very nice note
- brand new all filters and thermostat (just had 1st major service since conversion)
- CC GSR radiator
- all new belts (other than timing belt which is 50k old)
- K&N high flow air filter
- lowered on king spring superlows
- 17" wheels with 215/45 tyres (front 70% rear 90% - only because of age not burnouts)
- aftermarket alarm system with remote central locking
- excellent condition dash (was swapped out a year ago (all air con vents working none broken)
- silver resprayed dash trim
- custom parcel shelf trimmed in grey vinyl
- monza gear shifter
- extensive sound system including
- JVC MP3 headunit with 3 pre-outs
- 2 pairs of VDO Dayton 6.5" splits
- fiberglass speakerpods in doors
- 1 pair of imported 10" Pioneer 3 way components
- 1 Boss 2 X 80W RMS @ 4 ohm amp
- 1 Precision Response 4 X 130W RMS @ 4 ohm amp
- new 4 gauge wiring from battery back with gold terminals
- car comes with a HID kit half installed and remaining parts
- car will also come with boss kit for steering wheel and a full set of standard springs can be arranged

now the bad i could find
- slight hail damage and other minor panel damage
- minor tears in front seats at seams and 1 ciggie burn in back seat (this is how i bought it this is a non smokers car)
- demister swith does not work (will provide spare)
- lights in rear wiper/hazard switch dont work (can also provide spare)
- air con needs 1 tiny little pipe to be fixed then gas and it should be fine
- brakes shudder a little

Anyhow just thought i'd throw it out there pics will be up sometime in the next couple of weeks here is a link to some old ones before the conversion.

Car has been well kept with floor mats always used and interior trim always cleaned with polyglaze around monthly. Everything in the car works other than those problems listed above.

WTB: VR4 Oxygen Sensor

16 October 2007 - 08:29 AM

As the topic reads, need a working O2 sensor to fit a 1990 VR4 dump, 4 wire connection type. Or if anyone knows who makes a replacement that fits?

Need it ASAP

ECU's

20 September 2007 - 12:50 AM

Hey guys i have a CB Lancer GSR with a E39A VR4 4G63T dumped in it, just wondering how easily interchangable ecu's are:

can i swap my stock ecu for evo (1, 2, 3), or JSPEC single board easily?
