Hi guys. Have a Tps that has been playing up. Tested it and it's fubar. So need to replace ASAP. Have found new on eBay for around $120.00new delivered from Melbourne from memory. Problem is seller is away till nearly end of this month and I don't wana wait till then. Does anyone know where else together one and was wondering if there are other mitsi's that share the Aus spec vr4 tps????

Okay so I have a new tps and today had a go at replacing it. Can't for the life of me get to the nut on the bottom! What a C$NT of a place to put it. Grrrr. Anyway tried various tools and to no avail:( . I'm thinking that I'm going to have to unplug all the injectors and remove the fuel rail!! Which is a pain in the arse! Has anyone done this?

should still be available from mitsubishi...

or just make one ..easy to trace. I usually wipe a bit of black paint over the area{in this case the trottle body} and push it down hard onto the card board cut from a weetbix box or similar. small nail trimmer scissors work best for cutting it out

i bent an old screw driver in a vice to get it off

dont pay $120 thats a rip off!!
heaps of other cars fit:

Going to try bend a screw driver.good idea there:) I bought a worm style flexible driver but it was total **** and didn't work. **** taking the throttle off. I'll pay someone to do that lol. Another quick question regarding injector plugs. 1+4 are blue. I'm guessing that this is for tuning. Ie firing order and cylinder identification????. I'm replacing the plug closest to the cam angle sensor and Ive got a mint black one I can use. Was going to blue marker it if it's sweet to use this plug??

Also I think I ended up paying $70.00 delivered for a genuine Hyundai tps. I'd rather replace parts with new parts where I can get them so hopefully I don't need to worry about them for a while

Tps has been successfully replaced without having to remove the throttle body. Removed the fuel rail and just had enough room to get some needle nose long vice grips on the bottom bolt. Replaced the bolts with Pan heads with Allen key heads and the bottom bolt is a lot more accessible for adjustment
