I will not touch the politics at all, but man that Veyron is not impressive at all. On the track it was way slow than the solar powered car, and it was overcast at that point!

If you were talking about the white Evo 8,9 it had to be towed soon after leaving the track on Sunday.
Engine is on the left/passenger side. I figured may as well change both conrods and pistons to stronger units. The pistons are dead flat so if I shave the head the valve may touch.
I have been thinking turbo but every modded Mirage has that these days.

Would any of you guys know who would be best to speak to in regards to getting custom pistons and conrods fabricated?
I'm looking to up the compression ratio and pistons are a good start along with doing a shave.

Just after a compound better than the stock Mitsubishi ones. EBC apparently make them according to their catalogue (They are rated "Black stuff" so are OEM grade)
I'm after performance brake shoes for the drums on my Mirage. This is more difficult than expected as most places don't even manufacture brake shoes.
Have any of you guys heard of places that sell these or can fabricate some?
