    a new, good set of head bolts is required, like ajusa, they are capable of handling the power. a 4g93p headgasket and gsr head gaskets are the same, its the rods that fail first from boost pressure. 10psi is the safe limit for standard 4g93p compression. either way you should have adjustable...

    i wouldnt use a decomp plate, no need, as it will run better with the compression it has, also if you use the N/A cams with adj gears that will be better. if you must run decomp, 2mm will be fine as factory is 1.2mm crushed

    you can see it once you remove the sump, i had a pootrol that cracked a whole skirt off but sat there comfortably till i pulled the piston out...

    possibly droped a piston skirt... pull the motor out, take rocker cover and sump off and watch the motor turn over first... shouldnt have to remove the head to find the problem

    some people remove fuel cut on decel, and tune in with antilag so on decel the turbine speed remains high, that way when they tramp it out of a hairpin or tight corner it has no lag time

    they look like modified wrx (bugeye) brakes... the weld marks are in about the same location where the holes are located for the wrx

    i dont know why anybody needs a lightened HB, the outside diameter is too small to make a difference in centrifical weight.. why not just fit a lightened flywheel, when it will work 200% better than even the lightest HB??

    in theory it should be mounted flat and the opening should be smaller than the cooler. there is a book 'street turbocharging' or 'maximum boost' (cant remember which one) which goes into the dynamics of intercoolers

    the evo 3 dump is 2.5in outlet, but can be opened to 2.75in by porting the outlet. for the 2ltr you will only need 2.5in system, but im assuming your friends exhaust shop has a press bender which is bad =( he needs mandrel bent in 2.5in and straight through mufflers for the best flow. the...
