It's a bit silly of Mitsi that the fuel stuff isn't displayed on the screen above the vents (is there even a screen there?) As for climate control- the only feature from that that's really worth keeping is the 'Outside Temp'! I guess it depends on how badly you want a single din stereo? Maybe...

I wouldn't trust the dash gauges whatsoever- if you have an aftermarket gauge, go on that. Change the factory sensors too while you are there- they have caused me all sorts of issues in the past- sending incorrect temp to the ECU.

Hey mate, Can you post a couple of pics up for us? Sounds like you might have to sacrifice the climate control stuff in order to fit a new stereo- otherwise mount a standalone stereo for your audio in a different location?

Are you sure EVO's will be allowed? NZ brought in the 'Frontal Impact Standards' law which saw older cars (like EVO's etc) not eligible for import....
